The AVATAR Advantage

Designed to capture the huge economic resources available in organic waste, the AVATAR Anaerobic Digester will enable farmers to convert “biogas” derived from cow manure into energy that can power the farm or generate income from ”green power” sales.

Until now this important economic advantage has only been available to large farms of 1,200 cows or more using large-scale digesters at individual cost of one million dollars or more. The AVATAR system costs just a fraction of that amount, is modular, easy to use and maintain, and is geared for the small- to mid-size farm processing manure from as few as 100 cows.

Adding value to the system, the secondary by-products that are created include sanitized solids for animal bedding, pathogen-free fertilizer for direct field application or sale, and liquids for direct field application of nutrients or sale – all of which will reduce costs as well as create a potential income stream for the farmer.

With growing government scrutiny being placed on farms for pollution control, farmers are searching for ways to increase profitability while employing environmentally conscious management practices.
